Hanna, make a sequel already

This is a nice simple and concise telling of a Bourne-esque story. It have some plot holes but not so glaring that makes you want to bang your head against a wall like in lesser movies. The manga like characterization would have felt too cliche if not for its delicate restrain. All of its short coming are nullified and then some but is its perfect fusing of realistic cinematography, artistically stylized editing, better-than-Bourne action choreography and Chemical Brother’s tripping electronic score.

Hanna by a director whos best review film is Pride and Prejudice (2005), is the best artsy action film since Yimou Zhang’s Hero.

Hanna (2011) ★★★☆
